The Beard needs to be curated, like you would some ancient fossil if you worked in a museum. You need to keep the Beard in shape, making sure the lines work for you, that it grows in the way you want it to – like keeping a box hedge.

Tending to a Beard but not doing too much to it is the balance you need to strike when growing a Beard. It is all to simple to hack bits off under the chin or to drop your cheek line too much. These things are a sure way to kill your Beard.

We do not want that happening.

So, be patient with your Beard. That is all I am doing and it appears to be working. I just let it grow and in a month and a half it has had one trim, mainly under the neck as it grows so much fast there. This allowed my chin hair to have more freedom and made the beard look more defined.

So, let it grow and then when you want to trim you should pause. That is the moment you decide to wait just that little bit longer. The results will be incredible.
